Late Friday night: strong gusts and storm winds cause a seam in our 100-year-old maple to tear. A large limb comes crashing down on our old house.

Early Saturday morning: we're calling every local tree removal business--and some not so local--to figure out what to do. Honorable Tree Service is one of a handful of companies that picks up. Not only that, but Tony was able to come out that afternoon to assess the situation and give us an estimate. But wait, there's more! Tony was kind enough to do some quick removal of some debris on our walkway so that we had an exit in case of an emergency, on the spot, free of charge!!

Within a week of the first call, Tony was able to come out and remove all the fallen limbs and debris. And unlike most of the other tree removal companies that gave us quotes, Tony agreed that our maple was worth trying to save. Tony and his helper trimmed and pruned to rebalance the tree. Hopefully, it'll make a recovery; if not, Tony will be the first person we call.
